Rental Facilities

Over the years, scout and guide troops, youth groups, congregational organizations and others have found Camp Koinoina to be an ideal location for their camp outs, retreats and conferences.

Camp Koinonia features a Pavilion and an Outdoor Chapel that are available on a rental basis to churches and other groups.

We also have a number of campsites that will accommodate tents and/or RV units.

We invite you to consider one or more of these facilities as a possible venue when you plan your next event.

Pavilion

Camp Koinonia's Pavilion is a large, octagonal building with a fully equipped kitchen, including a commercial dish sanitizer. It also features bunkrooms that can accomodate up to 32 people. Additional meeting and/or sleeping space is available in the adjacent Pavilion Annex.

This winterized facility contains a large common room with a wood-burning stove as well as washrooms with showers. With a capacity of 120 people for dinner-style seating and 200 people for theatre-style seating, this building is available for rental on a daily, weekend, or weekly basis throughout the year.

Outside, a fire pit with benches is situated behind the Pavilion. Two campsites for RVs or tents adjacent to this facility, as well as additional campsites elsewhere in the camp, may also be available.

For assistance, the Camp Caretaker is on site to address your needs, including snow removal, furnace maintenance, or other troubleshooting matters.

For more information or to book the Pavilion, please contact our caretaker by emailing Camp@lakeislelutherancamp.com for availability and, upon confirming your dates, complete either the online or printable Pavilion Rental Agreement (see buttons below).

Please note: As the Pavilion is a food preparation area, no pets are permitted inside due to health regulations.

Outdoor Chapel

Sheltered from the wind by a grove of trees and overlooking the lake, our beautiful Outdoor Chapel seats up to 200 people and is available for private services (weddings, baptisms, etc.) to interested parties for a nominal fee.

For more information or to book the Outdoor Chapel, please contact our caretaker by emailing Camp@lakeislelutherancamp.com for availability and, upon confirming your dates, complete either the online or printable Pavilion Rental Agreement (see buttons below).
